Very Amusing

I am finding this generation to be very amusing. As a kid, we truly believe we know more than our parents. Why is that? It seems odd. We even call teachers stupid. Why are old traditions stupid? Why are certain vices that the last generation frowned upon being embraced today? What do we know that the last generation did not? Where is the latest discovery? I’m finding this current rendition of the human being to be very amusing.
There is no shortage of entertaining humans these days. I could look to the USA, but are they the worst gong show? Isn’t Putin in Russia, the leaders in Arabia, or Brexit in Britain. Personally, we have our own Canadian version in most of the provinces. Ontario had a crack smoking Premier who would not leave. He died. Duh! British Columbia has housing that Canadians don’t own and can’t afford. Tax and being poor is hip in that province.
Alberta is just a gong show too. The number one enemy is a past premier named Ralf. He balanced the budget and left the province debt free. What a crime and sin. The current leadership hates the one thing this province was good at: oil and gas. Both the province and Canadian leadership is trying to tax the snot of people in the name of carbon footprints. The only footprints I see are business leaving. Now the Oil haters are driving around in trucks promoting oil to get elected. Very amusing.
A black guy in Chicago fakes a police racial brutality claim. At first there is outrage at the cops. Now there is outrage against the black guy. Is there more social media fire against Trump or this other nut Cortez who thinks taxing the rich 70% is a good idea. Who makes business? The poor? Doesn’t it take money to grow a business? All of this is very amusing. No one country holds the market on amusing headlines these days.
What does God have to say? In the very beginning of Bible history. God worried that the two people (Adam and Eve) now know the difference between good and evil. God also worried that they might eat of the tree of life and live forever. Think about it. The finite human creation is having a tough time as they grow older in time. What kind of stupidity could they cook up if we lived forever? God knew that we are able to great things. We have. He also knew that having knowledge would make us more stupid.
In sports there is a term called (over thinking it). We see it in baseball with botched plays. A receiver in football drops a pass. A hockey player misses an open net. They all looked a head to glory and forgot to make the play first. Humans are those people. humans also do the same thing in life. Rights and freedoms for all seem so good. What a mess it has created. Allowing the world to live in your country seems so compassionate. Then people are angry because the country is not the same. Humans have over thought kindness and aggression since the beginning. Adam and Eve figured they knew. Now all they know is that it has not worked out so well.
A legacy. Our for-fathers left us a legacy to build on. Why has this generation decided to tear it down? Ok, let me get this straight. Our economy around the world is kind of good and kind of on the brink of collapse. That’s outlandish patrick! Just go around the world and check the health of most nations. It’s not great. Is travel safer today? Is walking our streets safer? Are schools safer? Is the current political leadership around the world better than in the past?
The answer is no. Humans are a mess. Yet, we despise the past leaders. We despise the past laws and restrictions. The Bible is stupid. Balancing our finances is archaic. Corporations are evil (although we need them). It’s all very amusing.
There is a feeling out there. In a unicorn world. That if we could get wealthy people to work hard. Think up crud to make life better, and give it all away to us for free, we would be a better world. To me, only a unicorn would demand people to work hard and give it all away.
What is the definition of slavery? I guess it’s to take a person against their will, make them work hard for nothing. The owners are the only ones who benefit. I bet I’m close on the definition. What if we could get smart wealthy people to freely work hard and give it all away? I suppose they would not be slaves. Question? Who is asking them or telling them to work hard and give it all away? The owners? Who are they? Maybe corporations should have a heart and do it out of the kindness of their soul? What if wealthy smart people said no? Slavery? Oh, this generation is very amusing indeed.
