This just might be the end

            It’s easy to believe Trump is right, or Hillary, or Obama. Maybe Putin, ISIS, or Trudeau in Canada are right. What astounds me is picking sides. We say boldly we believe what they believe. Yet, political leaders only believe what gets them elected. They only believe what we need to hear. They are the politicians of the world. These men and women have opinions, philosophies, and agendas. The angry protesters have opinions, philosophies, and agendas too. It appears the common person is being screwed.

            I have always believed that the end of times would be a time of differences. A time when we could not stand one another’s opinion. The Greek story teller Aesop coined the phrase united we stand and divided we fall. Is there a better time in history where the people are divided? Canada seems to distance itself from America. Britain is distant from Canada and the U.S.A. The free world has more of a problem with Trump than terrorism. Terrorism seems to have more of a problem with Europe. Things seem divided and a mess.

            Recently, some people feel it’s time to pull down the landmarks of history. I thought those landmarks told a story of how we got here. Some are offended because of the view of those involved in the landmarks. Were they slave owners? Were they racist? Was it a dark period of time? Statues and historical landmarks tell a story. I feel it’s less about glorifying the people depicted, but giving our countries depth. We began Christian, but now were not. Yet, many of our laws convey Christian values like do not murder. Reminders of the past are important. I believe they point us to the future from a different past.

            I was amazed that Nazi groups can still freely march in the streets. I get free speech but North America has not had free speech for some time. Political correctness Nazis have seen to that. The social media world condemns anything it hates. It hates Christians. It hates conservatism. It hates the traditional family. Words like mom and dad are being erased. Sex is missing from birth cards now. Slowly were being assimilated into one class. One world. One way. That sounds like a Nazi agenda to me.

            Mark 3:25 “If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”

Luke 12 Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” God has predicted that we will be driven to divide.

            I really don’t like talking doom. Yet, these days are dark and doomish. Were divided sexually, philosophically, and racially. Nothing has changed. I feel that it’s become worse. Certain groups protest. They hold parades. They march in the streets and fight the police. Laws are made to protect certain groups at the exclusion of others. Who is the great leader? Who holds hope? Today, we undo, tear down, and have created an atmosphere of untruth. What is real anymore?

            In 2 Thessalonians, it says Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

            I hate the news right now. There are bombings, terrorist acts, and racial riots. In 2017, I thought we could be better as the human race. I might have even held hope we were far more decent than the Bible depicted. Yet, here we are severely divided. Our children have no religion. They have no sex markers. They are given everything. They are the truth less generation. We have actually done it. we have replaced God. Yet, this is not over. If the Bible predicted division, then maybe, just maybe those predictions of hell and damnation are real too. These are interesting times for sure.
