Canada: death by a thousand cuts

             How do I say this without getting slammed? Probably I can’t. My country is dying fast but it’s not fatal with one blow: it’s death by a thousand cuts. There are countless stories of people and places that have made bad decisions. Those choices caused a ripple effect that became an end result. That is why people always say “I didn’t see that coming.” I wanted to help a girl by giving her school money. I gave it in Canadian and the university took it in American. Ohh that hurt, but the thought is what counts right?

            There have been several decisions over the years within the Canadian government that have begun the bleeding. In the early 80’s they reduced the age of consent for girls from 15 to 13. Why would you do that? Well we now have legal prostitution years later. Further to that we have a growing human trafficking problem. Are they related? Death by a thousand cuts.

            The government of the day will be legalizing some drugs. This is not the beginning. The beginning came when some provinces decided to allow private alcohol venders. Private Marijuana stores don’t seem too bad now do they. The problem is this government isn’t asking any questions. A recent study says the target user is between 17-26 years old. Our youth are the target without any thought of the ripple effect. Somewhere down the road we will be revisiting rules we can’t take back. Death by a thousand cuts.

            Over the last decade the gay and lesbian community have gained many rights they should have never had to fight for. Dumb people rejecting people based on lifestyle is stupid. The problem today is that this radical group will never sleep. It wants to grow and it wants power. Month after month they have been voted into the highest offices. They teach in our schools, and they make the laws. On its own, who cares if your sexually different than another. If you add agenda, then you get a different tiger altogether. Let’s not change the public. Instead they are growing a new public through the children. Death by a thousand cuts.

            What does God have to say about slow death? We he has a lot to say. Time after time in the Old Testament God warns the people about allowing sacred poles, foreign ideas, and inter cultural mixing. Is it because God is racist? Some will say yes. What if God knew that one idea will always be stronger than another. The idea of harmony with competing ideas is a pipe dream smoked at the highest level. No, don’t pardon the pun. I’m not laughing these days.

            Where does this leave my country? Well dead by a thousand cuts. One piece at a time my heritage is being cut down. Do they accept this in Russia, China, Pakistan, and Korea? No, because tradition and heritage mean something. We accept new people into this country but they bring their traditions like honor killings. They use our laws to beat our ways. We give them jobs and treat them poorly. Gee, what happens when you treat a group poorly: you get agenda revenge, that’s what you get. Human trafficking is growing in this country because an evil resides in the choices we are making. The old ways were called sins. Today we are breaking those sins down one at a time. Death by a thousand cuts.

            Canadians are now not playing hockey. They don’t care about community. We are segregated by race all over our cities. Your blind if you think otherwise. We are bringing in new ways and not making Canadian babies anymore. If were counting on the gay and lesbian community to make population think again. They still haven’t figured out how to make children from the same sex partners. Drugs, sex, and diversity is all we teach the next generation in our schools. Canadian values are going bye bye one month at a time. It’s death by a thousand cuts. One day, what’s left of our Canadian heritage will be read about in history books.
