Here are thirty thoughts on society. I think 2017 sucked. Personally, yes it did. Yet, there is major trouble all over this Globe. Even the most stanch optimist has to be shaking their head. Where is the light? I am sure some of these are happening in your city too. So, let’s just comb through this mess.

1.      Is it just me or are the leaders in almost every country corrupt. Not one good one?

2.      Companies are secretly ripping us off with cheating tactics. All companies?

3.      Our education system is a mess. Social agenda instead of academic agenda?

4.      This net neutral thing has me confused. Pay per site? Won’t work but by all means try it.

5.      Canada only: don’t try this at home. Charge your credit to the max and beyond.

6.      Shoving bike lanes and bus lanes into major arteries. Oh, it will fit!!

7.      Million-dollar art for a city that only one neighborhood sees. Is there more to buy?

8.      I loved this ploy. No tax increase until after the election. Smart

9.      Voting for a Mayor that pledges no tax increase. Ostrich smart

10.  Teaching kids that drugs can be used responsibly. Opioid crises are a one off

11.  Kids are not exercising enough. Close down family oriented roller rink

12.  Smart: have a family day with nowhere to go. stay home and play Xbox

13.  Make all things like banking phone friendly: report on dangerous phone use

14.  Make drugs legal: ahh, a 30 feet bylaw of dope stores near schools. That will do

15.  Buy expensive radar camera’s but ignore running red lights. No money in red lights
