What we think

I think the problem is we think too much. I am going to write a sternly worded letter to God about having three arms. We need three arms! When I drive I can keep two hands on the wheel and give the finger with the extra arm. I can tie things with two hands while holding on with the other. I could brush my hair, shave, and brush my teeth and save time. We need three arms now!

            I know we think too much. Scientists today think we need to discipline our kids properly. Yet, we grew up fine being disciplined improperly. They say society is more dangerous today than years ago. Oh, is the new discipline working? They are saying that we should be careful when drinking during pregnancy. Has something changed in the last few years? I thought that was a stupid thing to do 20 years ago. Ah, sorry they just came up with that idea this week. Stupid me.

            The other day I saw a post that said it was the hottest since 1975. Ok, but if were really into global warming then why has it taken 40 plus years to break a record. I did see other records broken from 1901. Well that settles it. Were in a warming trend. People can be so stupid some times. So more solar flares have no impact. Weather trends (longer than 40 years) have no impact. Volcanoes, el nino, la nina, and changing wind patterns have no impact. I get pollution. I also get brain pollution. We think far too much these days.

            Ok, so Trump says he is recording a conversation. I guy is careful what he says. People are mad at Trump for telling him it’s being recorded when it apparently was not. Trump said it made the man be honest in conversation. Ok, so if it was not recorded could the man relax and be untruthful? I get it. The truth is not the problem, Trump is. I get it. Hillary was a better solution even if she is dishonest. At-least she is not Trump, right?

            I think God has a sense of humor. That is why he made us. We talk and then we think. We think and then we talk some more, then we ponder, and ponder, and talk even more. Humans are hilarious. I work at Canada Post and have been there 30 years. Recently they have rediscovered things we used to do 20 years before. It’s now novel and new. It’s innovative and revolutionary. Yea, we ponder, we discover, and we think way too much. The problem might be what we see rather than what we know.

            We see troubled teens so it must be troubled parenting. We see hot days so it must be pollution. We see bad church people so God must be bad. We see a good economy so government must be good. They say don’t judge a book by its cover but it’s all we do. Why do you think most movies these days are better in the commercials? It’s the front cover stupid. Why do specialists speak out on topics? Most of the time it’s sponsored by someone with an agenda. There are facts and then there are agenda facts.

            So, diet pop is bad for you now. I thought pop was bad for you anyways, but not diet pop. So, natural selection is better than God. Yet, beetles killing forests is not natural selection. Killing babies in abortions is fine, but killing eagle babies is not. Terrorists killing people is not acceptable. Bashing Islamic is intolerable. Blocking American TV in Canada is good for people. Not blocking American porn is good for people too. What is wrong with us?

            This generation will go down as the era of no truth. Thank God for that. What they have discovered is ridicules anyways. I feel this generation loves no truth because they only discover things we already know. It’s really the generation of inaction. Nothing is discovered. Nothing is thought of. All we do is spend time chewing on what already is. We can do it better because were smarter. Yea, the terrorist thinks that way too. The gang leaders think that way too. The cults think that way too. The government is not dumb either. Post a random truth and watch the social media ants run around frantically as if their nest just got stepped on. Yea we think too much.
